Artist note
Nothing's inside me. I'm empty.
There is no my existence.
Distracting thoughts kept occurring to me.
Such thoughts always came from the outside.
It was all desire.
My presence occurred from such a desire.
My body was nothing more than shell.
Human being was just nothing.

Wheel technic create forms and space.
Make various features of people by inside space
Desire is still shown from outside. Desire makes us to agonize.
People will find paradise. But, there is no paradise where fill all desire. We can find the paradise in our inside.
I suggest thinking time what is most important in this work..
나는 아무것도 없이 비어있었다. 존재도 없이 오직 잡념만이 나에게 말 걸어왔다.
그 잡념들은 나의 외부로부터 침투해왔다. 그리고 그것들은 모두 욕망이었다. 나의 존재는 욕망으로 부터 만들어지고 있었다. 육체는 다만 껍질에 불과하다. 사람은 곧 무였다.

본래 인간은 비어있는 존재로,‘무(無)의 상태라고 할 수 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 인간은 욕망 때문에 고뇌한다. 욕망 때문에 고뇌하는 사람들에게 있어서 낙원은 없던 곳일까? 모든 욕망을 채워주는 곳일까? 나는 아무것도 없이 비어있는 공간이 진정한 낙원이라고 생각한다. 그리고 그 공간은 우리 안에 거한 빈 공간 그 자체이다. 나는 형태를 만드는 것과 동시에 공간을 만들 수 있는 물레를 차는 행위 와 그 결과물을 통해 그 빈 공간을 가사화한다. 이러한 나의 작업을 통해 우리에게 있어서 정말 중요한 것은 무엇인지 잠시 생각 할 수 있기를 바란다
